About: Super Mario Cat Condo (Wall Mounted Tunnel Cat Bed)

We have always been huge Mario fans and we wanted to bring some of the fun to our kitties as well. The included wall decals paired with the Escape Hatch will create the illusion that your cat is traveling via warp pipe. Don’t worry, there aren’t any Piranha Plants hiding in there, just your furry friends!

Cats can jump up through an opening in the lower left-hand corner (through the left pipe) then either lounge in the enclosed area, or jump up through the Escape Hatch on the right to access the top of the structure.

Our cats’ favorite area is the right cubby. I think they like it because when they lay there, their sleeping cat body acts as a sort of roadblock, stopping other cats from reaching the hole leading to the top. It’s a powerful position. Every time we walk past this Condo, there’s a cat sleeping in that spot.

This piece comes with 3 removable, matte-finished wall pieces of vinyl.

In the past, we have developed other Mario-themed products, as well as other unique pop-culture-themed items. You can take a look at some of our discontinued projects by following this link

This Condo is designed for studs spaced 16” apart.

It's Well Designed

It's exactly as advertised, but there are a few gotchas.

Irritatingly, but not critically, the instruction PDF shows some of the canvas oriented incorrectly.

Watch where you put it, it takes up a lot of horizontal space and sticks out a bit. Mind office chairs, particularly :(

If your house was built by drunks, like mine, you might have unpredictable studs. Even if you know you have, nominally, 16" spacing... still check at the spot you have planned.

Last nit... the advertising only shows it against a white wall. This is because the printed vinyl stickers aren't cut and the base material is white. I have painted walls.

Maybe my cats are just too old for this s**t, but they're definitely not into it. They're weird, though.

I'd buy it again, but I'd do a better job planning.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Ryan. We are glad to hear that you still enjoyed your products even though your cats didn't. If you have any questions about how to mount our furniture with irregular studs or the best furniture options for your specific cats, feel free to reach out to us, we are always more than happy to help!

Stud spacing and wall construction

Most construction in the US is made up of drywall over wall studs, which are wooden or metal 2x4s that act as the frame of the wall and are what the drywall is attached to. Because these studs are very sturdy, we’ve designed the furniture to be installed into them. They’re typically spaced out at 16” from center to center, so that’s what we’ve designed the furniture to accommodate.
